D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP, is engaged in the practice of public accounting providing a wide variety of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services. The Firm has offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida and Syracuse. They are pleased to announce several new hires.
Aija Steinbruck was hired as a paraprofessional to assist the tax department out of the Rome, New York office. In her role, Aija will work on a wide variety of accounting and tax engagements. She formerly interned with the Firm. She is a graduate of Santa Rosa Junior College and currently enrolled at California State University East Bay studying accounting.
Jordan Newton was hired as an administrative support specialist and works out of the Oneida, New York office. In her role, Jordan will be responsible for a wide variety of general administrative duties and special accounting engagements in the office. She comes to the Firm with previous office management and accounting experience. She is a graduate of University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s in English.
Kerim Gredelj was hired as a staff accountant working in the tax department out of the Utica, New York office. In his role, Kerim will work on a wide variety of tax engagements, including preparation of tax returns and financial statements. He formerly interned with the Firm. He is a graduate of SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is currently working on his master’s degree.
Jake Cavanagh was hired as a staff accountant working in the audit department out of the Utica, New York office. In his role, Jake will be assigned to work on a variety of audit and accounting engagements. Jake is a graduate of Utica College with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Bridgewater State University with a Master’s in Accounting.
Rosemary Taylor was hired as a Bookkeeper working in the tax department out of the Utica, New York office. In her role, Rosemary will work on a wide variety of accounting and tax engagements. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Potsdam and currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University studying accounting.
In addition, D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP has recently promoted Colleen Hutchins to Manager and Susana Brutsky to Senior Accountant. We congratulate them as they have both shown dedication to our clients and the Firm as well as a high level of technical ability and professionalism.
Colleen Hutchins has been promoted to Manager. Colleen is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Colleen works primarily out of the Utica, New York office and has been with the Firm since 2017. She currently manages a variety of audit and accounting engagements.
Susana Brutsky has been promoted to Senior Accountant and has been with the Firm since 2021. Susana is a graduate of SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with an MBA in Technology Management. She currently works in the tax department in the Utica office.
